Crofton go-kart raceway is another fun place to ride go-karts in Gambrills, Maryland. Only over half an hour of drive away from Hyattsville, this facility has all the right attributes to make up for an exciting day of go-karting.
The races are usually booked on a first come first serve basis. However, you have to confirm for party or event booking first by calling the track authority. Besides the party centre, you can even book the entire track for the day. As far as the cost goes, this place is pretty reasonable. If you are military personnel or senior citizen, this pace will provide a slight discount for you.
Apart from some vending machines, there is no dedicated food court or restaurant at the track. But there are some great places around the kart facility where you can enjoy a good meal with friends and family.

Though electric go-karts are the new normal in go-kart tracks, Crofton raceway offers the old school gas-powered go-karts. Though the karts are not the most environmentally friendly options, you’ll surely have a blast riding these beasts.

Around 45 minutes of drive away from Hyattsville, this indoor facility has a first come first serve booking policy. However, you need to fix a date by calling them and reserving it beforehand for other events and parties.
Apart from event reservations, Autobahn Essex also offers activities like axe throwing, summer camps and field trips to enjoy time outside of go-karting. Within the facility, there is a café where you can buy snacks and beverages, but for proper meals, you have to visit nearby restaurants.
Track Breakdown
Autobahn, Essex’s track, makes it different from the previous Autobahn facility. Unlike the previous one, here, you’ll get a single SPA track. However, Autobahn ensured that the thrill and challenge of driving stayed intact by designing a professional kart with nine tricky turns.
